• He spent his childhood in Thailand and California.
• Studied abroad in New Zealand
• He returned to the States for high school at Los Osos High and was scouted by a JYP talent agent in Hollywood, California while he was attending the Korean Music Festival in Los Angeles.
• First appeared through MNET’s Hot Blood, a program that showed the intense physical training that 13 male trainees had to go through for the opportunity to debut in either 4-member ballad group 2Am or 7-member dance group, 2PM under JYP Entertainment.
• Became a popular choice for Thai Endorsement and was selected by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) as the face of their newest campaign, “Come to Thailand; Let’s Take a Break!” after 2Pm debut in 2008.
• 2PM together with Yoon Eun Hye were chosen to endorse with special promotion single “Tik Tok” in music drama Cass Beer. Nichkhun played a main character in the 12-minute music video drama, released on February 8, 2010.
• In May 2010, he featured in a commercial for Everland’s Caribbean Bay water theme park along with 2PM Taecyeon and Chansung and Girl’s Generation members Yoona, Seohyun and Yuri.
• On June 1, 2010, he was announced to be an additional cast member to We Got Married, pairing up with Victoria of f(x)
